What spiritual practices feel nourishing to me in this moment?
How can I return to them gently?

Lately, the practice that nourishes me most is meditation.
Most mornings, before the world starts asking for anything,
I sit — even if only for a few minutes —
and let myself arrive in my body.
If I’m not in a rush,
I give myself 5–10 minutes just to breathe,
ground,
and write in my dream journal.
Because dreams have been loud for me lately —
full of messages, symbols, whispers from beyond.
Sometimes only one sentence remains,
sometimes a whole scene.
But I treasure whatever comes through.
Meditation helps me clear the fog,
but dreamwork helps me understand
what’s been stirring beneath my thoughts.
These practices feel like home.
Quiet.
Simple.
Uncomplicated.
A way of returning to myself
before I step into the noise.
But there’s another part of my spiritual practice
that I know I need to honor more intentionally:
energy protection.
I joke that I’m like a satellite dish —
picking up every signal,
every emotion,
every energetic imprint
from people who just pass me on the street.
It’s funny…
until it isn’t.
There are days I come home
feeling sick to my stomach,
or emotionally heavy
without knowing why
— only to realize
I have been carrying someone else’s pain.
It’s happened more times than I can count.
And if I’m honest,
it’s not a new thing —
just something I’ve never been taught
how to manage properly.
I’m highly sensitive,
and I’ve known this since childhood.
But sensitivity is both gift and burden.
It allows me to read people deeply
and walk between worlds…
but it also leaves me porous,
especially in crowds or busy places.
I need to remember
that protecting my energy
is not selfish —
it’s necessary.
So how can I return to this practice gently?
Maybe by putting boundaries in place…
energetic ones,
emotional ones.
Maybe by imagining a veil or shield around me
when I leave the house —
not to shut others out,
but to keep myself intact.
Maybe by doing a quick grounding
before I step into public spaces —
so I stay in my center
instead of absorbing everything around me.
Maybe by letting myself rest
when I feel overwhelmed
instead of pushing through.
Maybe by trusting
that I don’t need to hold
what isn’t mine.
Meditation nourishes my spirit.
Dreamwork nourishes my intuition.
Energy protection nourishes my body.
They are all connected.
And I think Neptune —
with all its water and dissolving edges —
reminds me that spiritual practice
is not about discipline or perfection,
but about return.
Return to the body.
Return to breath.
Return to the quiet.
Return to center.
And maybe the gentle reminder is this:
> I don’t need to hold the world.
I only need to hold myself.
