MLMM Monday Wordle – 26 October 2026
Monday morning arrived with all the grace of a falling metal bucket.
My first thought was coffee.
My second thought was that whoever invented mornings clearly had a surplus of enthusiasm and very little consideration for the rest of us.
I climbed out of bed, pulled on my pants, and headed towards the kitchen.
Something felt wrong.
Very wrong.
A quick inspection revealed that I had put them on backwards.
Wonderful.
I hadn’t even had my first drink of coffee, and already the universe was testing me.
Then came a sharp sting on my ankle.
A mosquito!
In October!
Apparently, the little vampire hadn’t received the memo about autumn.
I waved my arms around, performing what could only be described as a rather robust interpretation of modern dance.
Bella appeared in the doorway, watching with considerable interest.
With complete honesty, I could almost hear her thinking, And they say I’m the crazy one.
I finally reached the kitchen, where my coffee mug stood proudly at the front of the cupboard.
At last!
I filled it, took a glorious sip, and sighed with relief.
Then I noticed something.
My slippers didn’t match.
One purple. One pink.
Well, at least they were on the correct feet.
Probably.
I glanced at the clock.
4:58 a.m.
The day had barely begun, and I was already ready to retire.
But perhaps that’s my signature approach to life.
A little chaos, a generous helping of laughter, and enough coffee to convince myself that everything is perfectly normal.
After all, who needs a perfect Monday when you can have a memorable one?
And somewhere behind me, Bella disappeared with a sock.
Again.
Some Mondays don’t need a plan. They need coffee, patience, and a very good sense of humour.
