If you could start a new business right now, what would it be?
I actually know exactly what I would create.
A spiritual café combining some of my favourite things:
Astrology, Tarot, crystals, good food and, most importantly… coffee.
Imagine walking into a cosy little café filled with warm lights, plants, crystals and shelves of books.
There would be quiet corners where you could sit with a cup of tea or coffee, perhaps surrounded by the scent of herbs and something delicious coming from the kitchen.
You could book an astrology or Tarot reading, browse crystals, oracle cards and spiritual books, or simply come in for coffee without having your future examined at all.
No pressure.
Sometimes a cappuccino is all the spiritual guidance you need.
I’d also want the food to reflect different cultures.
Small dishes, cakes and snacks from different parts of the world.
Maybe something Greek one day, Norwegian another, Canarian food, and dishes inspired by other places and traditions.
Food has its own way of connecting people.
So does spirituality.
And so does sitting across a table from someone with a warm drink and having a proper conversation.
I’d want it to be welcoming rather than overly serious.
Yes, there would be crystals.
Yes, there would probably be moon phases somewhere.
And yes, I can almost guarantee there would be a lot of purple.
But you wouldn’t need to know your rising sign before being allowed through the door.
Come because you’re interested in astrology.
Come because you’d like a Tarot reading.
Come because you love crystals.
Come because you need somewhere peaceful to sit.
Or just come because somebody told you the chocolate cake is good.
I’d love to have occasional evenings too—meditation, astrology discussions, Tarot workshops, perhaps music, poetry or small gatherings where people could learn something new.
A place for curiosity.
A place for conversation.
A place where different beliefs and cultures could meet without anyone insisting there was only one way to see the world.
And naturally, somewhere near the entrance would have to be a sign:
MERCURY RETROGRADE SPECIAL
Coffee first.
Important decisions later.
Actually, the more I think about this…
