If you could rewrite any book’s ending, which one would you choose?
Haven’t we already had this prompt? 🤭
It seems the Daily Prompts have started repeating themselves.
My answer hasn’t really changed since the last time.
I honestly can’t think of a book whose ending I’d rewrite.
Maybe that’s because I believe every ending belongs to the author’s journey, even when it isn’t the one I hoped for.
That said…
I’m a hopeless romantic at heart.
I do have a soft spot for happy endings, where hope wins, love survives, and the characters find a little peace after everything they’ve been through.
Real life doesn’t always work that way.
Perhaps that’s why it’s comforting when a story does.
Even when a story ends, hope is something we can always choose to carry into the next chapter.
