YODEL • YARN • YARD
Every neighbourhood has that one person.
You know the one.
The neighbour who decides that the yard is the perfect place to try a brand-new hobby.
This week, it was yodelling.
At first, I thought someone had stubbed their toe.
Then I realised…
Nope.
That was definitely a yodel.
Meanwhile, Bella sat in the garden with the expression of someone silently questioning every life choice that had led her to this moment.
By the evening, the story had grown into quite a yarn.
Apparently, the neighbour was “training for the mountains.”
Considering we live on Fuerteventura, that may take a while.
Still, life would be rather dull without characters like these.
And who knows?
Perhaps next week I’ll be the one giving the neighbours something to laugh about.
