The Richest Things
Luxury is not what sparkles.
It is waking before sunrise to hear the ocean breathe.
It is coffee shared with someone you love, laughter echoing through the kitchen, a dog asleep at your feet, and grandchildren who still reach for your hand.
The world teaches us to count possessions.
Life teaches us to count moments.
Perhaps simplicity is not having less.
Perhaps it is finally knowing what is enough.
The older I become,the more I realise
that peace is wealth,
kindness is elegance,
and love…
is the greatest luxury of all.
