URBAN • UMBRELLA • UMBRAGE
They say you shouldn’t take umbrage over the little things.
Easy to say…
Until the wind turns your umbrella inside out in the middle of town.
Suddenly, you’re standing in an urban street, looking like you’ve just lost a battle with the weather.
People try very hard not to stare.
You try very hard to pretend this happens all the time.
It doesn’t.
After a moment, though, you can’t help but laugh.
Because life has a funny way of reminding us that dignity is sometimes overrated.
The best stories often begin with an awkward moment,
a gust of wind,
and an umbrella that had other plans.
So today, I choose laughter over umbrage,
gratitude over embarrassment,
and the confidence to keep walking—
even if my umbrella looks like modern art.
