The word of the day is Astrologers

Astrologers
Many strange beliefs surround those of us who are astrologers.
Some think we spend our days predicting disasters or reading fortunes from the stars. In reality, astrology is far richer than that.
Every person has a birth chart—a unique map of the sky at the exact moment they were born. Even animals have birth charts, and astrology can be used to examine the beginning of almost anything: a relationship, a business, an important event, or even a question.
One of my favourite memories still makes me smile. I once misplaced my car keys and, instead of searching endlessly, I cast a chart asking where they might be. The symbolism pointed me in the right direction… and there they were!
For me, astrology is a tool for understanding the soul more than it is a tool for prediction. It helps us recognise our strengths, our challenges, and the lessons we came here to learn.
When my husband and I got married, I even used astrology to choose our wedding date. I looked for a day without difficult aspects that would strongly challenge either of our birth charts. It felt like giving our marriage the gentlest possible beginning.
Astrology isn’t about fate or superstition.
It is a language.
A symbolic language that speaks through planets, signs, houses, and aspects. It doesn’t remove our free will—it helps us understand the energies we are working with.
I practise Western astrology, and after many years of study, it continues to amaze me how beautifully the heavens mirror life on Earth.
The stars don’t control us.
They simply tell a story.
