Aurora’s Weather Report
“Dad, look!”
Tiny hands lift the wand,a breath of wonder—and suddenly the world fills with floating skies.
Not bubbles.
Clouds.
Soft, round, impossible things drifting where they shouldn’t, catching sunlight like secrets learning to fly.
Aurora giggles, certain she has done something magical. Because maybe she has.
Somewhere nearby, Dad turns around—
“What have you done, Aurora??”
Half laughter. Half surrender. Because how do you explain to a child that imagination sometimes spills over?
And in another world,a door opens in the clouds—a hand reaches out holding flowers, as if heaven itself has come to investigate.
What I see is childhood and wonder conspiring together.
A little girl blowing bubbles so powerful they became weather.
