Today’s word is anniversary.

Anniversary

Anniversary.

A word woven with time.

Memories.

Promises.

Love that stayed through changing seasons.

The 24th of June is my wedding anniversary.

Though our story began long 
before—

engaged in 2003,
married in 2010.

Sometimes
love takes
the scenic route.

And perhaps
that made it sweeter.

On my wedding day,
I became a Crown Bride—

wearing a traditional
West Coast Norwegian bunad,

with a crown
more than 250 years old.

A crown
that had already witnessed
generations of love stories

before resting
upon my head.

And somehow—

it felt like carrying
history,

tradition,

and hope

all at once.

Because anniversaries
are not only
about the day we married.

They are about

everything we survived,

everything we built,

and every ordinary day

we still choose
each other.
