Word of the Day — 04.06.2026

Software

Software.

The invisible thing
working quietly
behind the screen.

Words saved.
Stories written.
Memories kept
inside digital spaces.

Until one day—

something breaks.

A password forgotten.
An account lost.
Years of writing
suddenly feeling far away.

And somehow—

grief arrives
in unexpected forms.

Not just for people,
but for pieces of ourselves we thought were safely stored.

Yet—

perhaps software is also about beginning again.

New accounts.
Fresh pages.
Starting over with hands that still have stories to tell.

Because words—

real words—

do not only live inside computers.

They live inside us.

And even when something is
lost—

the writer remains.

I lost over 20 years worth with my astrology papers, poems, lyrics etc when my old hotmail address crashed. I had to create a new account for my Word documents.

With love
