The Lunar Nodes

Today’s word is node

Node.

Such a small word.

And yet—
in astrology,
the Moon’s Nodes
carry entire lifetimes.

The South Node—     where the soul has already been.

Old habits.
Old stories.
Comfort zones that feel familiar,
even when they no longer fit.

The North Node—     the quiet compass.

Not always easy.
Not always comfortable.

But gently pulling us
toward who we are becoming.

Perhaps life itself is a dance
between the two.

What we must release.

What we are learning
to grow into.

And maybe wisdom is not forgetting where we came from—

but understanding
we were never meant to stay there forever.
