Hell

They say hell is fire.

But I have learned hell can be quieter than that.

Hell can be hospital waiting rooms,grief that sits in your chest like stone,nights where sleep refuses to come,and silence louder than screaming.

Hell is losing people while they are still alive in memory.It is carrying questions with no answers.

Sometimes hell is simply surviving days you never imagined you would have to survive.

But Churchill was right:

“If you’re going through hell, keep going.”

Because even the darkest road cannot hold the dawn forever.

And somewhere,between heartbreak and healing,you realise—

you walked through fire,and somehow,you still carried light.
