Strained—
like a voice
trying not to break.
Like hands
holding too much
for too long.
Like silence
pulled tight
between what was said
and what was meant.
Some days
even hope
feels stretched thin.
But still—
somewhere beneath
the pressure,
the ache,
the almost-breaking…
something holds.
Not because it is easy.
Because it is strong.
