Evening

Evening
is the pause
between worlds.

Day softens.
Lights dim.
Thoughts grow quieter.

The rush fades.
The noise settles.

And for a moment—everything feels slower.

Evening carries reflection.

A look back
at what the day held.
What was said.
What was felt.

Some evenings
bring peace.

Others
bring longing.

But all evenings
remind us
that endings
can be gentle too.
