A falling star’s core offers immeasurable power

The Core of a Star

It didn’t burn me
when it fell.

It recognised me.

A fragment of sky
placed quietly in my hands—
alive,
listening.

They say power
like this
should be feared.

But I have always
spoken in stars.

So I didn’t wish on it.

I remembered.

And the moment 
I did—it opened.

Not into fire,
but into truth.

Because the core
of a falling star
doesn’t give you power.

It reveals
the power
you were already carrying.
