What is your favorite holiday? Why is it your favorite?
My favorite holiday is Christmas.
Not just for the day itself—but for everything it carries.
The soft glow of candles lighting up the dark.
Twinkling lights that make everything feel a little more magical.
The smell of good food filling the house—warm, familiar, comforting.
And the children…
their happiness, their excitement, that pure joy that only this time of year seems to bring.
Music playing in the background—songs that return year after year, like old friends.
It’s not just a holiday…
it’s a feeling.
Of warmth. Of togetherness. Of something gentle in the middle of winter.
And maybe that’s why it stays my favorite—
because for a little while,
everything feels a bit more full of light.
