Shutter

Shutter.

A simple motion.

A click.
A closing.
A brief moment
that captures
what is.

In photography,
a shutter
decides what is seen.

What is held.
What becomes
a memory.

Too fast—
and the moment
is missed.

Too slow—
and everything
blurs.

It is all
about timing.

And life
is no different.

We open
and close
in moments.

To people.
To experiences.
To feelings.

Sometimes
we capture
everything—
fully present,
fully aware.

And sometimes…
we close.

Protecting.
Pausing.
Choosing
what to let in.

A shutter
is not just
about seeing.

It is about boundaries.

About deciding
what becomes
part of you…
and what passes by.

Because not every moment
is meant
to be held.

Not every feeling
needs to be captured.

Some are meant
to move through.

Unrecorded.
Unkept.

And others—
just one—
become everything.

A memory
you return to.
A feeling
that stays.
