Today’s Word: Archive 🗂
In response to:
https://wp.me/s9Zf6z-archive

An archive is a place
where things are kept.Stored.
Preserved.
Protected from being lost.
Old letters.
Photographs.
Moments frozen in time.
An archive holds history—
not only of the world,
but of a life.
But we all carry our own archive.
Memories tucked away.
Conversations remembered.
Feelings that shaped us.
Some we revisit often.
Others remain untouched,
quietly stored in the background.
Not everything needs to be forgotten.
Not everything needs to be carried forward.
An archive allows both.
It honours what was
without demanding it remain present.
It gives space
for the past to exist
without controlling the future.
Because who we are
is built from what we’ve lived—
but we are not required
to stay there.
We can remember…
and still move on.
