Not every storm
is graceful.

Some arrive loud—
unfiltered,
untamed—
a hissy fit of emotion
spilling over
when the cup
has long been full.

We are taught
to stay composed.
To soften our edges.
To swallow the rise
of frustration, anger, truth.

But sometimes…
something snaps.

Not in weakness—
but in overflow.

A hissy fit
is not always chaos.

Sometimes
it is truth
finally refusing
to be quiet.

A voice saying:
enough.

Enough pretending.
Enough holding it in.
Enough shrinking
to keep the peace.

Yes, it may come out messy.
Yes, it may lack polish.

But beneath it—
there is honesty.

And honesty,
even when loud,
even when sharp—
is still closer to healing
than silence ever was.

Maybe
we don’t need
to fear the storm.

Maybe
we just need
to understand
what it’s trying to say .
