Waiting
Some days feel suspended, as if the world itself is pausing between breaths. I watch the horizon from my window and think of all the moments when hope arrived quietly, only to slip away again. We tell ourselves patience is wisdom, that time will bend eventually toward the things we ask for. Yet there are seasons when the silence grows heavier than faith. I remember reading the line: “It all belies Our existence; we wait, and are still denied.” The words linger like a tide that refuses to turn. Perhaps waiting is not empty after all, but a kind of shaping, the slow carving of endurance inside the heart.
