Yes, I respect the views and beliefs of others, even when they differ from my own.
We all come from different experiences, cultures, and paths in life. What shapes one person’s belief may be completely different from what shaped mine. Because of that, I try to listen before judging.
Respect, however, does not mean agreement. It simply means acknowledging another person’s right to think and believe differently.
In today’s world, sharing opinions or speaking about faith can sometimes feel risky. Conversations quickly turn into arguments instead of understanding. I believe we have lost some of the art of listening to one another.
For me, respect goes both ways. I respect others’ beliefs, and I hope they can respect mine as well. Differences don’t have to divide us — they can also teach us.
Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is simply allow each other to be human.
