Do you believe in fate/destiny?

Absolutely.
But not in a passive way.
I believe in destiny the way I believe in tides. There is a current. There are patterns. There are meetings that feel written long before they happen.
Some moments carry a strange familiarity — like you’ve stepped into something already woven.
But I also believe in free will.
Destiny may open doors.
It does not force you to walk through them.
Life, to me, feels like a map with certain landmarks already marked. The mountains. The sea. The turning points.
How you travel between them?
That is yours.
You can delay.
You can resist.
You can detour.
But some lessons will circle back until you face them.
I’ve experienced too many “coincidences” that were not coincidences. Too many threads that connected later in ways that made sense only in hindsight.
And yet — every choice I made shaped the outcome.
So I don’t see fate and free will as opposites.
I see them as partners.
Destiny lays the thread.
Free will decides how tightly you hold it.
