Indication
An indication is not always loud.
Sometimes it arrives as a pause,
a hesitation in the body,
a whisper you can’t quite ignore.
I have learned to read the signs—
the subtle warnings,
the gentle nudges,
the moments when something says:
pay attention.
Not every indication demands fear.
Some are invitations.
To slow down.
To choose differently.
To care for what remains.
Listening does not make you weak.
It makes you alive.
