warmth stitched into pattern.

Plaid reminds me of protection.
Blankets pulled close.
Shirts borrowed and worn thin.
Belonging that doesn’t need explanation.

Each line holds its own direction,
yet together they make sense.
Nothing erased.
Nothing alone.

Life feels plaid to me now—
layered, intersecting,
full of moments that only align
when I stop trying to simplify them.

Some patterns aren’t meant to be smoothed out.
They’re meant to be lived in.
