Impatience
Impatience shows up when I want life
to hurry and explain itself.
When waiting feels like standing still,
and standing still feels like failure.
But impatience is often just hope
wearing uncomfortable shoes.
It means I care.
It means I’m ready.
It means I believe something is coming
even when I can’t see the timing.
So I try to meet impatience
with breath instead of blame.
With trust instead of tension.
Some things can’t be rushed—
they arrive when they’re ready.
And so,
I practice waiting
without giving up.
