Hazardous

Hazardous
is not always loud or obvious.

Sometimes it looks like silence.
Like corners cut.
Like truth delayed one time too many.

Hazardous is what we normalize
when warning signs are ignored,
when convenience outweighs care,
when responsibility is passed
instead of held.

Not every danger explodes.
Some erode—
slowly, quietly,
until the ground gives way.

To name something hazardous
is not fear.
It is awareness.

And awareness
is the first step
toward choosing a safer path.
