The prompt for today is MURKY.

Murky
Some truths don’t arrive clear.
They surface slowly,
through fog,
through contradiction,
through half-light.
I’ve learned that murky doesn’t always mean wrong.
Sometimes it means unfinished.
Sometimes it means the water has been stirred
because something buried is trying to rise.
In murky moments,
instinct matters more than certainty.
You feel your way forward.
You pause.
You listen for what doesn’t match the story you’re being told.
Clarity isn’t always immediate.
But murkiness has its own purpose—
it teaches patience,
discernment,
and when to stop pretending you see
what you don’t.
I don’t rush clarity anymore.
I let the water settle.
What’s real
always reveals itself
in time
