Charm turned up loud.
Approval dressed as attention.

But the kind that lasts
is quieter.

It’s the pause before a truth is spoken.
The confidence that doesn’t chase.
The light that stays steady
instead of flashing.

What’s truly alluring
doesn’t demand.
It draws.

Depth.
Integrity.
A soul that knows itself
and doesn’t need permission.

These days,
I’m no longer tempted by shine without substance.

I’m drawn to what is real,
rooted,
and unafraid to be seen
exactly as it is.

That kind of allure
never fades.
