Catalyst

January 8, 2026.
The year may be new,
but the lies are old.
If this were just another 2025 day,
I’d still choose the same catalyst:
truth—loud enough to rattle locked doors.
Justice doesn’t arrive politely.
It is sparked by refusal.
By names spoken when silence is expected.
By questions that won’t sit down.
The catalyst is pressure.
Witness.
Memory that refuses erasure.
This year, I invite change that burns clean:
evidence unburied,
devices opened,
stories returned to the voices they were taken from.
Let 2026 be triggered
not by comfort,
but by conscience.
Some sparks don’t heal—
they expose.
And exposure
is where justice begins.
