This one is harder than it sounds.

I don’t need to be remembered as impressive.
Or loud.
Or extraordinary.

I hope people say I was authentic.
That what they saw was real — not curated, not masked, not performed.

I hope they say I was kind.
Not perfectly, but sincerely.
The kind of kindness that listens before it speaks.

And I hope they say I was non-judgemental —
that people felt safe to be themselves around me,
safe to share their truths without fear of being measured or corrected.

If that’s what remains,
then I lived the way my soul intended.
