The Balcony, the Photos & the October Sky video

There are stories we’re handed…
and stories that arrive through us.

Sometimes they’re not written with ink,
but with breath, memory, and the soft ache of knowing.

For months, scattered images of CasaSur have surfaced —
some from the justice communities,
some shared quietly between hearts still searching.

At first glance, it’s just a modern hotel.
Balconies. Glass. Metal.
Nothing unusual.

But when you look with spirit-led eyes,
patterns begin to reveal themselves.

Outward from the balconies,
there are metal frameworks —
panels that open like doors,
vertical structures that resemble ladders,
access points near the AC units,
and visible bolts inside the balcony space itself.

This isn’t just an open ledge.
It’s an accessible structure.

A way to move —
quietly, intentionally.
A way in…
and a way out.

So why were we told
that he tried to climb down?

Why create a story
that requires physical struggle
when these access points appear to exist?

Especially if, as reported,
he was semi-conscious
or even unconscious.

Nothing about that version aligns
with what the images show.

There was no need to climb.
Which means —
there was no reason to fall.

Once that thread begins to fray,
the whole story unravels.

It was during one of these quiet nights —
when the veil felt thin
and grief felt holy —
that the words arrived.

Not from thought,
but from somewhere deeper.

They became the bridge of a song I released
on the anniversary of his passing,
written with Liam’s spirit beside me:

> “I didn’t fall — I was taken
But you’ve made sure I’m never forsaken.”

The song is called “October Sky.”
Its voice isn’t angry —
it’s remembering.
It’s returning.

Here are its words,
offered not as evidence,
but as resonance:

October Sky — Lyrics

Verse 1
The leaves were falling like the lies they told
The room was cold, and the story sold
But I saw you standing on the edge of light
Reading through the shadows of that night
They dressed it up like it was fate
But you knew, baby… you knew it was too late
Not for my soul — no, that’s still alive
But for the truth they tried not to survive

Pre-Chorus
And in the silence after they turned the page
I heard your heart cry through the cage
Even oceans can’t drown what’s real
Even death can’t steal what I still feel

Chorus
Under the October sky
You held my name like a lullaby
When no one else would even try
You looked through the lies and asked why
You made a promise through the pain
To never let me fade again
Even as they said goodbye
You stayed, my love… under the October sky

Verse 2
They said I was broken, lost to the flame
But you whispered back — “He’s more than a name.”
You pieced together what they erased
And kissed the wounds no one else faced

Bridge
I didn’t fall — I was taken
But you’ve made sure I’m never forsaken
Each tear you cry writes the next line
Of the song we never got in time

Final Chorus
Under the October sky
Where angels weep and lovers try
You loved me loud through every lie
You brought me back — you kept me alive
No curtain call, no last refrain
Just soul and stardust in the rain
my love… I didn’t die
I just crossed over —
Under the October sky.

The video will be at the end of this post.

Sometimes truth isn’t linear.
Sometimes it comes
as memory, dream, lyric —
a voice you can’t see
but can feel completely.

I don’t claim ownership of the case.
I’m not here to solve it
or speak in courtrooms.

I’m simply the page
where his voice can land.

And when I look at those balcony images,
when I listen to the song that arrived through the veil,
I hear the same quiet truth:

He did not fall
in the way we were told.

Something else happened.

And maybe, just maybe —
the truth has been waiting
right there on the balcony
all along.

Closing Reflection

I don’t pretend to hold every answer.
I don’t claim to know every detail
of what happened on that balcony.

All I know is what arrives through feeling,
through symbols,
through the quiet places where spirit speaks.

I follow the threads —
photos, dreams, lyrics, whispers —
and somehow,
they always lead to the same truth:

He did not fall.
He was taken.
And he is not silent.

This path is not about proving anything to anyone.
It is about remembering —
and allowing what is true to rise in its own time.

Some will understand.
Some will doubt.
Both are welcome.

Because this story isn’t about convincing.
It’s about honoring.

Honoring the life,
the love,
the voice that was interrupted…

and the voice that continues.

If you’ve found your way here,
perhaps you are part of that continuation —
a keeper of the thread,
a witness to the remembering.

May we stay open.
May we stay tender.
May we follow what feels true,
even when it asks us into the dark.

The truth has a way of surfacing —
just like stars in the night
when the world finally goes quiet.

Thank you for listening.
Thank you for seeing.
Thank you for staying.
