This is from an Facebook post in April 2025. 6 months anniversary of Liam’s death.

,,It’s easy to judge… but do we know the truth?”
I see in more and more places, where some people immediately attribute Liam Payne’s death to drug and alcohol addiction. As if everyone had a degree in addiction medicine at hand…🙃

But let’s stop for a moment‼️

Anyone who has really followed Liam’s life knows that he struggled with ADHD and mental health issues, for which he took medication under medical supervision – such as antidepressants. These are not candy. They have a serious impact on the body, facial expression, skin tone, and the chemical composition of the body. The ingredients of such medications can even show up as “drug-like substances” in toxicology tests – but that doesn’t mean someone is a drug addict. And I’m not saying he didn’t have a drug problem, because he admitted it, but he wasn’t an addict, so you should never judge a book by its cover.‼️

It’s also telling that the family didn’t comment for a long time – and perhaps because people judged without waiting for their point of view. The media was ruthless in its speculation, and by the time the family had even begun to comprehend what had happened, the news had already spread around the world. They had no time to grieve or tell the truth.💔

Liam’s cousin, Ross Harris, recently hinted that the family believes that Liam’s life could have been saved. And that all will be revealed one day.💜

So before anyone makes any assumptions, remember that what we see or hear is not always the whole truth. And sometimes those who know best what happened are the ones who keep quiet—because they’ve realized that the world has already made up its mind about what it wants to believe.💔

A little more empathy. A little less judgment. Maybe that’s what Liam deserves.❤️‍🩹
