Daily Prompt-2098
What’s the biggest risk you’d like to take — but haven’t been able to?

I think I’m slowly walking toward it.
For the past six months, I’ve been writing again — not just short notes like before, but truly writing, describing my feelings on a deeper level than I ever dared.
The risk I dream of taking is to write my story — honestly, fully, without holding back. Maybe even a book one day. But what holds me back isn’t just fear — it’s the fact that several of the people who wronged me are still alive. I have no contact with most of them, yet a part of me still worries about being judged again, misunderstood again.
And then there’s another truth that frightens me even more: sometimes I start to think, “Maybe it wasn’t so bad… I survived, didn’t I?”
But that’s the voice of survival talking, not healing.
To look at the wounds means admitting they’re still there. And maybe that’s the real risk — not the writing itself, but the feeling of it all over again.
💫 Healing asks for courage twice — once to survive, and once to face what survival cost.
