What makes a good neighbor?

Lately, with all the car trouble I’ve had, I’ve been reminded just how important good neighbors are. Honestly, I would feel completely lost without them — and without our landlord and the friends nearby who’ve shown up when I needed help the most.
They’ve dropped everything to come rescue me when I’ve been stranded or stressed, and that kind of kindness is something I’ll never take for granted. Living in a foreign country and out on a remote farm means we all have to rely on one another a little more. We help each other however we can — whether it’s a lift, a tool, a phone call, or just some encouragement on a difficult day.
To me, that’s what makes a good neighbor: people who show up, who care, and who remind you that even far from “home,” you’re not alone.
💫 Community isn’t built by distance — it’s built by hearts that answer when you call.
