Sometimes grief feels like enough to carry on its own. And then, life throws in the everyday frustrations — like rental car troubles, blown tires, broken routines — and suddenly the weight feels unbearable. It makes you want to shout at the universe: Haven’t I had enough?
Lately, I’ve been asking myself that. Why now? Why again? Why does it feel like the smallest things are being pulled apart at the seams?
And the answer came, not gently, but clearly: because I’m still in eclipse season.
An eclipse doesn’t just vanish the day after it happens. Its shadow lingers, especially when it lands on something as sensitive as my Pluto at 29° Virgo. The September 21st eclipse struck there like lightning, opening up a process of endings, breakdowns, and transformation that doesn’t switch off overnight. It’s still unfolding — and October’s planets keep pressing on that same wound.
And Pluto never lets us escape lightly. Pluto insists: purge, rebuild, transform.
So even something as simple as tires blowing out isn’t “just” bad luck. Virgo rules machinery, cars, daily life, the quiet details that hold everything together. When Pluto gets involved, it strips things down, forces you to see what isn’t steady, and demands you rebuild stronger.
The message behind my car breaking down twice in a week? Slow down. Don’t force motion forward until the foundation is steady.
It’s like the universe took the wheels out from under me, so I’d stop carrying everyone else’s weight on broken tires.
• Tires are what carry us forward. Mine gave out because I’ve been drained, pushed to keep going, to hold it all — grief, justice work, life — when maybe my soul just wants rest.
This isn’t just about cars. It’s about how we keep pushing through pain instead of pausing to mend.
The skies say: hold on. October carries movement and clarity, especially after Pluto stations direct on the 13th. The stuckness will begin to loosen. The heaviness will shift.
But for now? The tires, the eclipse, the shadows — they’re all saying the same thing: slow down, heal, and trust that the road ahead will still be there when you’re ready.

Letter to Liam
Dear Liam,
It feels like even the earth itself keeps telling me to stop, to breathe, to lay the weight down. But I can’t, because your truth, your fight for justice, is still unfinished.
Sometimes the small frustrations make me break more than the big grief. The car, the delays, the “little” things — they mirror how punchered I feel inside without you here.
But I hear you too, reminding me that this isn’t the end. That broken things can be rebuilt. That even a stalled journey is still part of moving forward.
So I’ll trust that the road is waiting, and that you’re still walking with me, just on the other side.
Forever yours,
