What are your favorite side-hustle ideas?
First of all, I have to laugh a little at the term side hustle.
At this stage of my life, I’m not particularly interested in hustling anywhere. 🤣
But earning a little extra money from something I already enjoy doing?
That I can understand.
If I were choosing side hustles for myself, they would definitely have to involve creativity or things I’ve already spent years learning.
Writing would be one.
Blogging, poetry, stories, lyrics—words have become such an important part of my life.
Then there’s music.
A few years ago, I certainly wouldn’t have put songwriting on a list like this.
Now I have songs released into the world.
Life is funny that way.
Sometimes a hobby quietly grows into something you never expected.
I’d also choose astrology and Tarot readings.
I’ve studied astrology and worked with Tarot for many years, so that would be another natural possibility.
Perhaps readings online, personalised birth-chart interpretations or small workshops.
And then there are handmade spiritual things—crystals, candles, jewellery, meditation items or little gift sets.
Although knowing me, I’d probably become emotionally attached to half the crystals and refuse to sell them.
“Sorry, this amethyst lives here now.”
And, of course, yesterday I accidentally designed my dream business:
the spiritual–astrology–Tarot–crystal café.
Coffee, tea, readings, crystals, food from different cultures, workshops, music and probably enough purple décor to be visible from space.
Perhaps that’s not a side hustle anymore.
That’s a whole building.
But I think my favourite side-hustle ideas all have one thing in common:
They turn something you already love into something that might earn a little extra money.
I wouldn’t want to spend my limited energy doing something I hated simply because someone on the internet promised I could become a millionaire before breakfast.
Besides…
I already have blogging, writing, songwriting, music, astrology and Tarot.
Apparently I don’t need another side hustle.
I need another seven days in the week. 🤣
