Dancing between two worlds,
Riding whispers on translucent wings,
Arriving when the heart needs a sign.
Glimmers of those we still remember,
Only a heartbeat away.
Never truly gone, perhaps—
Floating briefly into our sight,
Leaving a shimmer of love behind,
Yet somehow saying, I am still near.

Thank you so much, Mihran. 💜 That is exactly what I hoped the poem would carry. I’ve always felt there is something special about dragonflies, almost as if they are little visitors reminding us that love doesn’t simply disappear. Whether they are signs or simply beautiful moments that make us remember, I find comfort in them. 🪽
