Welcome to another educational edition of Fibbing Friday, where accuracy is strongly discouraged. 😂
1. What is a strimmer?
A professional barber employed to give lawns their summer haircut. He specialises in the Number Two Around the Flowerbeds.
2. What is a Mexican Wave?
What happens when someone on a beach in Cancún spots a friend on the other side and refuses to walk all that way to say hello.
3. What is hogwash?
The unfortunate Saturday morning when somebody decides the pig needs a bath. The pig usually disagrees.
4. What is poppycock?
A particularly handsome rooster who lives in a field of poppies and is far too pleased with himself.
5. What is a doodlebug?
A tiny insect that sneaks onto your notebook at night and draws moustaches on everyone in your photographs.
6. What is a pecan?
A small emergency container carried by people who cannot survive more than ten minutes without a snack.
7. What is a molar?
A scholar who has devoted their entire academic career to studying moles. Graduation requires digging one very impressive tunnel.
8. What is an epiphany?
The sudden realisation, three hours after leaving home, that you definitely did not unplug the iron.
9. What is goulash?
The result of opening the fridge, finding seventeen unrelated leftovers and deciding, “That’ll do.”
10. What is a parameter?
A highly trained professional who measures pears to ensure they meet international fruit regulations.
There you have it: another ten perfectly unreliable definitions.
Please don’t consult a dictionary. It has a terrible habit of ruining Fibbing Friday. 😂💜
