No Need to Rush

PROMPT WORD: Rush

Sunday’s Six Sentence Story Prompt Word!

No Need to Rush

Everyone seemed to be in a rush, racing toward somewhere they believed they needed to be.

For years, I thought I had to keep up, afraid that slowing down meant falling behind.

Then life taught me that some of the most beautiful moments happen when we stop watching the clock.

A sunset doesn’t rush, a flower doesn’t hurry to bloom, and the stars arrive exactly when the sky is ready for them.

So now, when the world tells me to move faster, I sometimes choose to sit quietly with my coffee and simply breathe.

Life isn’t a race, and I would rather experience the journey than rush past it. 💜

With love, coffee, poetry, and stardust,

I couldn’t agree more, that’s why we moved to a small lakeside town five years ago.
