The Scenic Route 🚗😂
They said it would be a short venture.
“Just follow the road,” he said. “You can’t get lost.”
Famous last words.
The scenery began to vary from little villages to mountains, then suddenly there was nothing but a vast landscape stretching towards the horizon.
She looked at the GPS.
“No signal.”
He looked at the map.
It was upside down.
She slowly turned her head towards him.
“You said you knew where we were going.”
“I do.”
“Where?”
He pointed confidently towards the horizon.
“That way.”
She stared at him for a moment.
“That’s the Atlantic Ocean.”
There was a long silence.
“Well,” he finally said, “I did say it was a venture.”
She grabbed the car keys.
“And now it’s going to vary considerably. I’m driving.” 😂
