Sunday Poser # 300- Friendships

Sunday Poser — 23.08.2026

Does age difference matter in friendship?

I don’t think age difference has much to do with friendship.

I’ve never chosen my friends according to the year they were born.

For me, friendship is about connection. It’s about being able to talk, laugh, listen, trust each other, and be there when it matters.

Sometimes having friends of different ages can actually make a friendship richer. We bring different experiences and perspectives to the table, and we can learn from each other.

You can meet someone your own age and have absolutely nothing in common, while someone twenty years older or younger can feel as though you’ve known them forever.

Of course, we may be at different stages of life, but that doesn’t prevent a genuine friendship.

Age tells me how many years someone has lived.

It doesn’t tell me whether we’ll understand each other.

Friendship doesn’t need matching birthdays. It needs matching hearts. 💜
