What’s the last movie that made you cry?

Avatar.

And yes, I’ve seen it before.

Apparently that doesn’t matter.

There is something about Avatar that gets to me every time.

Of course there are heartbreaking moments, but for me it’s also the deeper message behind the story.

The connection between the Na’vi and nature.

Their understanding that everything is connected.

The idea that the land isn’t simply something we own or use—it is something we’re part of.

And then watching greed and the hunger for power threaten to destroy something so beautiful…

Yep.

Here come the tears. 😭

I think that’s why the film stays with me.

Underneath all the incredible visual effects and fantasy, there are questions that aren’t fictional at all:

How do we treat our planet? How do we treat other living beings? And how much are we willing to destroy in the name of wanting more?

So, yes.

The last movie that made me cry was Avatar.

And knowing me, I’ll probably watch it again…

…and cry in exactly the same places.

Sometimes a fictional world reminds us to take better care of the real one.

I completely agree, sometimes a fictional world teaches us how to take care of the real world better. So beautifully written 👍

        You’re most welcome my friend.

That’s not good if the Wi-Fi goes out. I hope it gets sorted out soon.

Yeah, the mobile data is slow too.

That’s not good either. Our mobile data is slow, and the towers seem to have coverage issues across different areas. The towers haven’t been replaced or brought to maintenance since more than 2 decades.

        That’s sad Yasan…
But I reckon it’s other things they prioritise to rebuild in your country.

Yeah, they often prioritize the most important things to be rebuilt first before the others. They all take a long time.
