Here are this week’s questions & my answers

1
What was your favourite TV show as a kid?
Little House on the Prairie .
I loved that series when I was growing up. There was something about the family, the countryside and their way of life that kept me watching.
Tom & Jerry , Roadrunner and Paddington.
2 Do you have a favourite ‘tipple’?
I don’t drink alcohol anymore, so my favourite tipple would have to be coffee. ☕😂
When I’m out, I love the Spanish café leche y leche. And after a good meal, give me a lava cake for dessert with another coffee and I’m very happy indeed. Chocolate and coffee — you can’t really go wrong.
3 Is there a movie you can watch again and again and still enjoy?
Dirty Dancing.
I honestly have no idea how many times I’ve watched it by now.
And yes, I still enjoy it every single time.
“Nobody puts Baby in a corner.” 💃
4 Did you have a favourite toy as a child? Or perhaps one you wanted and never got?
I loved my Barbie dolls, but truthfully, I was much more of a nature kid.
I always had some kind of project going on outside. I would build little boats and send them sailing down the stream, build tree houses and find new adventures.
Winter didn’t stop me either. I loved ice skating, and my father even built me a go-kart that I drove around on the ice.
Looking back at the old photo now, I’m not entirely sure health and safety would approve.
But what fun we had!
Gratitude
I’m grateful for a childhood where imagination didn’t need a screen.
A stream could become an ocean, a homemade boat could go on an expedition, a tree could become a house, and a frozen landscape could become our own racetrack.
I’m grateful for those memories — and for the old photographs that can suddenly bring them all rushing back again.
With love, coffee, poetry, and stardust,
