Three Things Challenge #MM517
KNOT • KEEP • KEEPSAKE
Well, these three words immediately took me back to my wedding day. 💜
We tied the knot on 24 June 2010.
Funny how one little expression can hold so much.
A wedding lasts a day, but a marriage is made from all the days that come afterwards.
The ordinary mornings.
The laughter.
The disagreements.
The ridiculous moments nobody else would understand.
The difficult years when life tests every promise you once made.
And the decision to keep choosing each other through all of it.
Wedding photographs, cards, little treasures and other keepsakes can bring us back to that one special day.
But perhaps the greatest keepsake isn’t something we can put in a box.
It’s everything we’ve built since.
The memories.
The family.
The laughter.
The tears.
The storms we’ve somehow weathered together.
When you tie the knot, you have no idea what life will place on the other side of those vows.
You simply take someone’s hand and say:
Whatever comes next, we’ll face it together.
And all these years later, that might still be the most important promise of them all.
KNOT — the promise we made.
KEEP — the promise we continue to choose.
KEEPSAKE — the life we’ve created along the way.
