Not every journey is measured in miles.
Sometimes moving forward just one inch is an achievement.
We live in a world that celebrates big milestones, dramatic changes, and overnight success. But most of life doesn’t happen that way.
Real change often comes quietly.
One small decision.
One more attempt.
One tiny step forward.
Like water flowing into an inlet, life finds its own path. It curves around obstacles, changes direction, and sometimes carries us somewhere we never expected to go.
And eventually, there are things we have to inter.
Not only people we have loved and lost, but old versions of ourselves.
Old regrets.
Old fears.
Dreams that no longer belong to us.
We don’t have to forget them.
They helped shape the person standing here today.
But we don’t have to carry everything forever either.
So if all you managed today was to move one inch forward, let that be enough.
The ocean wasn’t created in a day.
It arrived one drop at a time.
And sometimes the smallest movement is the beginning of an entirely new journey.
