Sunday Poser # 298- Introduction
Do you think the “About me” page is important? Do you have one on your blog? And do you update it often?
Yes, I think an About Me page is important.
When I discover a new blog that catches my attention, I also like knowing a little about the person behind the words. It gives their writing context and makes the blog feel more personal.
I do have an About Me page — but this prompt has made me realise that I haven’t updated it in months. 🤭
And a lot can happen in a few months.
When I wrote mine, I was still very new to blogging and finding my way. Since then, I’ve found so many wonderful writing communities and prompts, experimented with different forms of poetry, written more about astrology and spirituality, created music, and discovered more clearly what I want The Afterlove Voice to be.
I suppose an About Me page shouldn’t only tell readers who you were when you started your blog.
It should grow as you grow.
So, Sadje, I think you’ve just given me another job for this week. 😂
