What’s the last movie you’ve seen (streaming or in theaters)?
It’s been a long time since I watched a movie.
The last thing I watched was actually the HBO miniseries Chernobyl.
It had a deep impact on me because I was living in Norway when the Chernobyl disaster happened in 1986. Norway isn’t so far from the Soviet Union, and the radioactive fallout reached Scandinavia. I remember the concern surrounding it, and watching the series all those years later made those memories feel much more real again.
It wasn’t just watching a historical drama about something that happened somewhere far away. It was an event from my own childhood, something that affected the part of the world where I lived.
So technically, no, it wasn’t a movie. 😅 But it’s the last thing I watched that stayed with me long after the screen went dark. 💜
