Brown
Brown is the colour of home.
It is the earth beneath bare feet,the weathered wood of an old doorway,the bark of trees that have stood through countless seasons.
It is the colour of fresh coffee in the morning,well-loved books with worn pages,and the quiet comfort of a favourite blanket.
Brown is not a colour that shouts.
It doesn’t ask to be the centre of attention.
Instead, it reminds us to stay grounded,to appreciate simple moments,and to find beauty in the ordinary.
Here on Fuerteventura, brown tells its own story.
It is the volcanic mountains,the rocky paths,and the dry landscape that somehow still finds a way to bloom after the rain.
Perhaps that’s why I love it.
Because brown reminds me that strength doesn’t always sparkle.
Sometimes it is quiet.
Steady.
Patient.
Like the earth itself, always waiting for the next season to begin.
