Three Things Challenge #MM502
TORRID • TORMENT • TUCK
July has certainly been torrid.
Long, hot days beneath the Canarian sun.
Days when even the breeze seemed to take a holiday.
But not every kind of heat comes from the weather.
Sometimes it’s the torment of worry.
The weight of uncertainty.
The thoughts that quietly keep us awake long after the world has gone to sleep.
On those days, I’ve learned that comfort can be found in the smallest things.
A favourite blanket.
A warm cup of coffee.
A gentle hug.
Or simply tucking yourself away for a little while, letting the world carry on without you as you catch your breath.
Rest isn’t weakness.
It’s how we gather strength for whatever tomorrow brings.
As July comes to an end, I hope August brings cooler breezes, lighter hearts, and new reasons to smile.
Until then…
I’ll tuck hope safely into my heart and carry it with me.
